Tamworth Borough Council are preparing for their routine memorial safety testing, a legal requirement that must be conducted every five years.

Light the darkness to honour Holocaust Memorial Day 2025

Tamworth Borough Council will honour Holocaust Memorial Day on Monday 27 January, by lighting the castle purple on the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau, the largest Nazi death camp, and the 30th anniversary of the genocide in Bosnia.

Tamworth Borough Council is committed to closing the gender pay gap and have released their eighth annual report reporting a continuous decline in the pay gap since publishing its gender pay gap since 2018 (data from 2017).
